Being a fashion/accessory designer and an avid bag-o-holic myself, the two things I look for in any bag are Style and Finish. I personally look for designs that appeal and connect with my personal style, after all fashion is an extension of ones’ personality. It’s not about owning hundreds of handbags, it’s about owning, the right ones’. You are better off with a few key pieces that are a class apart and that make for the ultimate accessory rather than a closet full of bags you bought just for the heck of it. It’s not about quantity, its quality that matters and that’s exactly what sets you apart from the crowd.
This Spring/Summer it’s all about Turquoise/Amparo Blue, Violet/Lavender and Coral along with neutrals that provide for a perfect backbone to the bright colors.
However neutrals and basic colors such as Black, Brown, Beige, Antique-Gold and Gray-Silver are the ones you can’t go wrong with, no matter what the season. They go with everything and come in handy more often than not. So if you had to spend a little more on these 5 essential colors, you might as well because they will be well worth the money. You don’t have to burn a hole in your pocket to look the part; you just have to give it some more thought and shop smart.
